Reflection blog

       This project was a very unique and interesting project for me. I had never spent this long on any of my project in my entire life. It has been a great experience and it has helped me a lot mentally. I wrote me paper on the two largest aircraft suppliers. I had little knowledge about their history and how the industry works considering I wanted to be a part of it being an aeronautical engineer. I researched for a lot of sources for the paper. This paper helped me a lot on writing an essay. I had never written a more organized paper. For my presentation, I chose the topic law as I couldn't find a mentor who could help me with aerospace industry.

       I spent a lot of time with my mentor and he helped me a lot in understanding the topic. I didn't have much knowledge about how to become a lawyer and about law but after all this time I have a better vision on this topic. Personally, I learned a lot about law and order, and how the legal procedures work. I don't think I got much gain socially as I didn't get involved physically. I mostly researched online and didn't take part in the project physically so I didn't gain any social experience.

     The most challenging part about this project was finding a mentor. My teacher successfully helped me with initial works and I had no trouble at the beginning. I searched a lot of places for mentor and couldn't find anyone. I had to change the topic, which was also another challenge as I had to start from the bottom again. Overall, this project has been very important for me and I will definitely use the experience I got from this project in my future life.

Time spent with mentor

I met my mentor on May 12 and May 14. I spent a total of 5 hours during the two days with him. During these two days he mostly helped me on my presentation and prepared me for it. He taught me different interesting ideas on how to do presentation. Besides that, I also learned about some new laws that will most likely be implemented. He explained me all the advantages and disadvantages of those laws and I found many interesting facts. Lastly, he filled out my mentor evaluation form.

Time spent with mentor

I met with my mentor on may 4th and 5th. My mentor had gone to visit some places lately, so I couldn't spend time with him over the past few weeks. For the first day, he gave me brief explanation of the major courses required in law school. I learned about civil and criminal law, contracts and their violation law. I learned about classes based on increasing our vocabulary and leadership.
For the second day, we continued and I learned about legal writing procedure, critical thinking and many more key areas everyone has to focus in.
I spent a total of 6 hours this weekend with my mentor.
